Welcome to the YMCA Glasgow Wind Orchestra

YMCA Wind Orchestra Christmas Concert

The YMCA Glasgow Wind Orchestra is a community wind orchestra that was founded in 1982. The membership consists of 45 playing members who come from a wide range of musical backgrounds. The orchestra exists as part of the YMCA movement, receiving funding and support from YMCA Glasgow.

The range of music which the orchestra undertakes is extremely varied in style and includes Marches, Classical, Stage/Screen, Jazz/Swing, and Popular/Light.

Rehearsals currently take place in Glasgow City Centre every Friday evening.
