YMCA Glasgow has active Partnerships with Bombay YMCA, New Delhi YMCA and Worcester YMCA in Massachusetts, U.S.A. Further links are being developed with YMCAs in Russia and Bangladesh. Regular exchange visits for staff, volunteers and members of the Board of Directors maintain and strengthen these links. Our internationally acclaimed Wind Orchestra completes an overseas visit every two years and the annual United Nations Dinner, held in October, is always a resounding success. A very committed Y Care International group participates in the activities of the national Y Care organisation and the Association is a member of the World Urban Network of YMCA's.

YMCA Glasgow's active International Advisory Group meets every month to discuss and plan new programmes. Visiting speakers are invited to the meetings to give a short input on a topical issue.

The YMCA Glasgow International Advisory Group meets monthly to discuss a wide range of international issues and programmes.

The membership of the group is open to all who have an active interest in the international dimension of our work.

Each month a guest speaker attends the meeting to give the members present an insight into their particular field of work.

The meeting has a social function too as the members enjoy a light buffet with refreshments after each meeting.
